Aِ workshop on the effective use of Lebanon’s national public procurement portal.
The Public Procurement Authority (PPA) successfully held a workshop on May 13, 2025, at its premises in Beirut, focusing on the effective use of Lebanon’s national e-procurement portal. The session brought together public officials and procurement professionals committed to enhancing transparency and efficiency in the procurement process.
Organized in the framework of the RAP project, funded by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France, this training is part of the PPA’s broader efforts to support digital transformation and institutional capacity building in the public procurement sector.
Participants were introduced to the portal’s main features, including account management and the digital procurement workflow, and received practical guidance on applying the Public Procurement Law. The session also featured real-life case studies and interactive discussions that helped clarify procedures and address common challenges.
This initiative reflects the PPA’s commitment to promoting a transparent, accountable, and efficient procurement system in Lebanon. Additional similar activities will continue to support this objective in close coordination with national stakeholders and international partners.
